Graffiti Brazil: Nomies

In this Graffiti Brazil we are featuring another great street artist from Sao Paulo. Known as Nomies, he carries an awesome style composed by fat characters, white space eaters, happy, sad, mad (the reflection of the social facts). Inspired by cartoons and lowbrow art, Nomies work usually follows themes like automatism, consumption and freedom.

Stereoscopic 3D Effect with Anaglyph Images

Anaglyph images are used to provide a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with 2 color glasses (each lens a chromatically opposite color, usually red and cyan). Images are made up of two color layers, superimposed, but offset with respect to each other to produce a depth effect. Usually the main subject is in the center, while the foreground and background are shifted laterally in opposite directions. The picture contains two differently filtered colored images, one for each eye. When viewed through the "color coded" "anaglyph glasses", they reveal an integrated stereoscopic image.

I'm not much into soccer, but I just love the passion and craze some of my friends and many people around the world have for this game, and as everyone should know I'm also an admirer of good architecture. In this case, as we are getting closer to the World Cup in Africa, I decided to make a collection showing the beautiful stadiums that were built for this event, which is certainly one of the biggest sportis events in the world.

Raphaël's illustrations are a mix of soft and delicate lines with some dark colors and strong outlines... and the result is pretty inspiring.

The Beauty of Lightning Photography: A Bolt From The Blue

Scientifically speaking, lightning is an abrupt electric discharge from cloud to cloud or from cloud to earth accompanied by the emission of light. But for photographers it is a beautiful creation from Mother Nature. Lightning occurs during a storm resulting from strong rising air currents; heavy rain or hail along with thunder and sometimes during volcanic eruptions or dust storms. Awesome Carved Pumpkin Art

A jack-o'-lantern is typically a carved pumpkin. It is associated chiefly with the holiday Halloween, and was named after the phenomenon of strange light flickering over peat bogs, called ignis fatuus or jack-o'-lantern. In a jack-o'-lantern, typically the top is cut off, and the inside flesh then scooped out; an image, usually a monstrous face, is carved onto the outside surface, and the lid replaced. At night, a light is placed inside to illuminate the effect - Wikipedia.
